KORE at The Cockpit (Camden Fringe 2025)

KORE — A darkly comic odyssey through grief, prescription drug dependency, and flawed friendships. When Sam's world shatters, she free-falls into addiction alongside Nick and Jenna, navigating a surreal landscape with an eccentric psychiatrist and a Deliveroo dealer in this modern reimagining of the Persephone myth. Written by and starring Danielle De Vries, directed by Tommy Boyce, this 60-minute Camden Fringe show is an ode to survival for mature audiences.

"Humorous and Poignant" — 4/5

"Danielle De Vries ensures a well measured balance between comedy and poignancy within the script."

"An interesting, enjoyable show, that is peppered with humorous moments within the otherwise emotive storyline, brought to life by a talented cast."

The Reviews Hub - 70% score.

"KORE succeeds in shining a light on the darker side of prescription medication and the devastating effects it can have. While its characters may not always be easy to connect with, the production leaves an impression of quiet unease and a reminder of how dependence can take root in ordinary lives."

Attention Span (Camden Fringe 2024)

Attention Span — A brilliantly ridiculous sketch show from Brave Mirror Productions, performed at the Hen & Chickens Theatre as part of Camden Fringe 2024. Written by Joseph Hollas and directed by Jamie Saul, the show blends wit and physical comedy with low-budget props and pre-recorded video gags, as five performers riff off each other through a series of fast-paced, tech-obsessed sketches. Danielle De Vries appeared alongside four other brilliant actors — Tallula White, Joe Deighton, Finn Lanchester, and Daniel Golding.

"Brilliantly ridiculous... a funny, fast-paced comedy gem." — Rated & Reviewed (4.5/5)
