About DanielleÂ
Danielle De Vries grew up in Cape Town, where she attended workshops with Bonnie Rodini and ACT Cape Town. She began her career working mainly in commercials, before pursuing acting more seriously by training at East 15 Acting School in London, where she completed her MA in Acting.

Since graduating, Danielle has worked primarily on stage, helping to develop new theatre through various R&Ds — a process that sparked a passion for theatremaking and led her to write her own play, KORE, which premiered at the Cockpit in London.
After a successful run, Danielle continued building connections and honing her craft.
Now, after three years in London, her time there has come to an end (for now), and she is returning to Cape Town to further pursue her career as an actor. She hopes to work across both stage and screen in Cape Town, in both Afrikaans and English productions.
